First Congregational Church of Los Angeles Wedding and Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County Wedding - Sarah Jane and Daniel

The Covid-19 pandemic presented such a huge impact on our lifetime, and I will never forget the whole experiences with my wedding photography.
Sarah Jane and Daniel had to reschedule their wedding for… I don’t even know how many times, and at different locations. I can’t imagine what that feels like to push the best-day-ever over and over again, yet Sarah Jane (who is an event planner) was so on top of everything, that in the end, we got to celebrate their wedding at the beautiful First Congregational Church of Los Angeles, and partied at Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County.

MANHATTAN BEACH WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHY SESSION, VERANDAS BEACH HOUSE - JACKIE + EAMON

Jackie is super chill and funny (at least to me because she makes me laugh!) She and I have something in common; she is a journalist! I seriously give lots of credits who are working in the journalism field - which I left a long time ago. It’s a super fun job - especially in the 20s, but things are a lot different now with the internet and social media, etc. (I sound pretty old. Ugh.) Eamon is more of a reserved guy who is a lawyer.

The couple met in college at UT Austin while they both lived in the same dorm building. Friends first, then things evolve from there - my favorite kind!

When I asked Jackie what she loves the most about Eamon, she said “He says he’s 5’11 but he’s actually 5’10.5.”

Her grandmother who is 98 years old was the star of her family, and she was able to stay until late night which was very impressive. Jackie and Eamon’s wedding was held at Verandas Beach House in Manhattan Beach.

Los Angeles Park Wedding - Silverlake Wedding - McKenna + Will

McKenna and Will met at Harvard University in 2011. They were roommates and best friends for five years before they finally started dating. (During McKenna’s father’s speech at the wedding, he confessed that he had made sure Will did not make any move on her until she graduated from Harvard.) They’re both creative people professionally and personally and enjoy doing a lot of the same things together and with their friends and family. They currently live in Oakland, but got married in Elysian Park (CHAVEZ RAVINE ARBORETUM) and had their lovely reception at Bacari in Silverlake. It was simply perfect; a small ceremony followed by a reception with their loved ones.

Not to forget that Bacari’s pizza was so delicious, and guess what, Will proposed to McKenna by putting a ring inside a pizza box.)

Their wedding was so laid-back and go-with-the-flow, which perfectly suited their vibes and personality. They also got ready together at Silver Lake Pool and Inn. Ahhh my kind of people!
